Install and update Windows 11 on unsupported PCs
It is possible to upgrade to Windows 11 or install Windows 11 from scratch even on unsupported PCs. In this video I explain how to do it step by step.
From October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer release updates and security patches for Windows 10.
Nowadays, using a computer with an outdated operating system is too high a risk.
Never before has attention to cyber security spread like wildfire even among non-experts, that is, ordinary people who use their computers daily not only at work but also at home. The perception of what risks there are by continuing to use an outdated operating system has now firmly entered each of us.
This is why by the end of 2025 you must necessarily update your computer to Windows 11, or alternatively switch to some other system (for example Linux).
If you intend to stay with Windows, you should know that not all PCs can do it “automatically”. In fact, for the majority of recently purchased PCs, the switch to Windows 11 is easy and painless. All you have to do is go to Start -> Settings –> Windows Update and you
For slightly older PCs, however, this step is prevented.
In fact, Microsoft has introduced a series of hardware limitations or minimum hardware “requirements” that PCs must have in order to update to Windows 11 automatically.
These requirements are:
- Have 4 GB of RAM
- Install a latest generation processor (64 bit, at least 2 cores and at least 1GHz)
- Have TPM 2.0
However, there are various methods to update to Windows 11 even without these requirements.
In this video I will easily explain two methods to update to Windows 11 without losing data and without losing installed programs.
If you prefer to reinstall everything from scratch, I will also explain how to do an installazione pulita, andando ad eliminare del tutto il vecchio sistema Windows 10.
